| I feel like I just recently updated this, but evidently I am wrong. Anywho, what's going on with everybody? I can't wait for grad party season to be over with. It's tiring stuff. Last night I went to two. Well, not last night...more like yesterday.
Well, actually I went to Watertown yesterday. Mom wakes me up at like 9 and goes "We're going on a road trip." Her version of a road trip is the slight 200 miles to Watertown. We had to stop and look at a few camp sites on the way through, but my final destination was Old Navy. I bought a black halter top, a pair of denim shorts and a zip up hoodie. All for like $30. Woohoo bargain shopper. Then we went to Wal*mart and Mom bought me the new Harry Potter book (it's a lot cheaper at Wal*mart, fyi) and I looked at cell phones. When I get my paycheck Wednesday (hopefully!!!) then I'm getting me a damn flip phone. Yay. We went to a couple places, basically because I was looking for a new pair of swim trunks for Michael. Either they were quite expensive or were all like XXLs so no luck there. We even stopped in A-Bay to look around. I ended up buying him a shirt that was called Slammed I am. It's like "I will drink beer in a car"...etc. He was telling me the other night how much he loves Dr. Seuss. haha.
We got home and I donned my new halter top and shorts and headed out to Danie Cressey's grad party, which of course was going on at the same time as a huge thunder and lightning storm. Our choices were to sit in metal chairs under a tent held up my metal poles or to stand around in a tin garage. lol. We picked the garage for fear that the tent would collapse from all the water. Mike showed up and we went to Courtney Vallance's for awhile. It was really hot out so after about an hour of that a bunch of us went to Chris Sharpe's house to swim. That lasted until the f*ing mosquitoes came out. Mike and I left and went back to Danie's and watched some exciting games of beiroo or however the hell you spell it. In the mean time, Abby confessed her undying love to me and stuck a beer in my shirt. WAY TO GO.
We came back here at like 10:30 and watched American Wedding. Talk about exciting television.
That's about all for now I guess. Abby we need to hang out sooooooon!
Love

| Hey! How is everybody doing? I haven't updated this thing in awhile. We started camping at Coles Creek last Tuesday and we just came out Monday night. Lots of stuff has been going on. Tuesday night Mike and I went to Ashley's for a movie/swim thing. We watched Meet the Fockers. I absolutely love that movie. We stopped at home on the way back to Coles so I could grab a sweatshirt and the candy I bought Mike at Water Safari, and he all officially asked me out. I have never met someone that sweet, it's amazing. So then we went back to camp and got eaten alive. Never fun. Thursday night was Andrea's birthday party. I got eaten alive there, but it was a pretty good time, just seeing a bunch of people. Then we went back to camp and walked around and caught a little fireworks display.
Friday I went to my first day of work, but I really didn't do work. All we did was put the ropes in and leave. The candy and everything wasn't it. So I officially started Monday. It was alright...it didn't get really good until today when the town supervisor (and my new favorite person/hero) brought me a cash box and a roll-y cart. I have never been so thankful for one person. (Except for you, my darling )
Sunday I went to Mikey's for the day. It was his 18th birthday (woohoo) and also the annual pig roast. He decided that he wanted me there before everyone else, so I called at like 11:30 and said I'd be there in a little while. He said he'd be there. But of course, he wasn't there when I got there, and he didn't show up for like an hour. If that's not uncomfortable....haha. His older brother decided that I should be dating him and sat on my lap for a good half hour. But now he just says I cheated on him and refers to me as his ex. I'm glad they've all found someone new to pick on. haha
That's really about it. I signed up to retake my Chemistry regents today. I found out that my boss is a chemistry major, so maybe he's my ticket to above a 90 on that damn regents. Let's hope so...
Love you all...

| Okay. I am updating this twice in one day. I really do need a life. Except I've actually been busy lately. Woo hoo! Friday night I went to graduation. I struggled to keep my eyes open through most of it. I was impressed with 2 of the speeches and how crisp, clean, and to-the-point they were. I'm pretty sure I fell asleep during the third. Ah well. So after M and I spent like a half hour fighting our way through the crowd and trying to find Abby. She took like 2 pictures. We attempted to give directions to Hobkirk's, gave up, and went home. On our way out Britney told us that Laura was having a bonfire (way to invite me, Screwy ) so we went over for awhile. Kyle decided that burning Animal Farm was a good idea and Keith and Mike started the fire with old math regents.
Saturday was Kate's grad party so M and I headed up there for the day. It was good time. We kicked Michael's ass in Rummy 500 and then went for a nice boat ride. Kate showed us her water-skiing abilities. (Needless to say, I was quite impressed.) And then M went water skiing. He made me proud. He got up on the first try. I used this opportunity to use up the rest of my camera from prom and Darien Lake. I'm bad at finishing cameras. So then the four of us (Kate, Sean, M and I) jumped off the boat and swam in. It was great. hehe. Later Ash and Jer and Ryan and Lib showed up. Ashley made us play mow (that's definitely not spelled right, but whatever) and I lost...badly. It's just another way for Ash to be a control freak. So then we all played monopoly. And did a lot of cheating. Then watched a little bit of Anchorman. Then M and I drove home and jumped in my pool because we're just cool like that.
Yesterday my parents, three cousins and I went to Water Safari in Old Forge. It was a long ride and that park really isn't all that much fun. On the way home I ended up paying them a dollar to shut up for 15 minutes. Only one of them made it. It was a cheap day. I thought Ange's party was last night, but M text messaged me and said it was sometime this week. So I came home and called him...ended up talking to Jason, thinking it was Mike. I hate that. lol. I just wonder about how much of a moron I sounded like...
That's about it. Hopefully someone will call and save me from having to go to a stupid family party tonight. You better call-we're running away!
Love you all... ~Kari* | | |
| What is with everyone's hurry to always put a title on everything? I can't count the number of times in the past week that I've been asked if M and I are "together" or "dating" or "going out." I know it's either because you guys genuinely care or that you like to find out this sort of news {or a mixture of both...because of course you guys care! } So let me just clarify...No, we're not really any of the above mentioned statuses. And that's probably confusing so let me say it another way. I look at it as after all this time, I've finally gotten what I truly wanted, and knowing that, I just don't need a title. That's it. But thanks for wondering...I love you for it.
